Constellation Financial

The only request on the creative brief going into this project was to incorporate the stars of Orion’s Belt (The Three Kings), as this represented the three key shareholders in the company. Like most people, I enjoy staring up at the night sky so the opportunity to further research this specific constellation was an exciting prospect. Below is a selection of the ideas I came up with based on my research.

In the logo above, I created a portal into the sky that focused on the three stars of Orion’s Belt. Below, in the first logo option, I turned the “C” in “Constellation” into a waning crescent moon (as seen in the Northern Hemisphere) and laid the Orion constellation over the top. The second option was a spinoff of a NASA patch I found. Lastly, the final option was simply based on a time-lapse photo of the night sky.
